The WealthTap System: Rising from Rags to Riches

Chapter 63 White Haven And Crimson Dawn

"Die, you bastard!" Chris shouted in fury and punched ahead, alas, he had miscalculated gravely and his fist ended up losing most of its momentum before he reached Alfred.

But, when all hope seemed lost, Chris opened his hands and threw some sand into Alfred\'s eyes!

Alfred, momentarily blinded by the sand in his eyes, stumbled back, desperately trying to clear his vision. Chris took advantage of the situation, quickly regaining his composure. He knew he had to act swiftly to gain the upper hand.

With Alfred temporarily disoriented, Chris lunged forward, delivering a powerful kick to his opponent\'s guts.

Alfred doubled over in pain and his body stumbled backwards, falling on the ground into the water.

His body was washed into the warm liquid as he quickly pushed himself off the ground and rubbed his eyes to get the sand out of his eyes.

Blinking to get out of his disoriented state, he again got into a fighting stance and delivered a crushing kick into Chris\'s guts.

But, Chris noticed the attack easily and swiftly brought his hands in between to block.

In a real fight, it would have been a dumb decision since Chris would get hurt by the kick too. But, this time, Chris had an unfair advantage of much better bodily prowess.

He caught Alfred\'s kick and pulled even closer, punching his curled fists directly in the neck of Alfred who choked due to the crushing blow on his windpipe.

He caught Alfred\'s neck and smirked, he knew he had won only due to the decisive blinding attack of sand and also his unfair block by his better bodily prowess.

But as they say, everything is fair in love and war.

Chris took a deep breath and looked into Alfred\'s dead eyes for a moment. Reminiscing about this poor butler\'s miserable life.

By the type of his ego, Alfred carried the sin of pride. One of the deadliest seven sins.

Chris closed his eyes and clutched Alfred\'s neck tightly. He was feeling little remorse for this poor butler who had died an unfitting death for a great warrior, butler, chauffeur… like him.

He did feel lot of remorse. However his own life wasmuch more important and he had one simple fact to avoid the guilt of a death by his hands.

It was simple… that Alfred was already dead.

Chris sighed and looked at Alfred\'s dead body that now laid in the peaceful waters of his mind. He had no name for this place yet, he just regarded it as the waters or calm waters.

Chris thought while looking at the vast expanse of shallow waters that went on and on as far as eye can see under the warm sunlights of two suns.

Chris did feel like this wasn\'t really Earth. Well, it wasn\'t really a big or brilliant observation. Since even a kid can tell that by looking at the huge two calm suns in the sky.

Which oddly enough, didn\'t seem to change or move from their position as if the time itself was stopped in this mysterious domain.

Chris looked at the sky and waters again, remembering his scary meeting with the devilish beast earlier when these white and calm peace was no longer as calm and was shrouded in eerie crimson shine.

A shine that reeked of blood.

Chris shrugged carelessly and named his place as the White Haven. While named the crimson domain as Crimson Dawn. Inspired by the fact that these peaceful suns gave the feels of early morning pleasant dawn.

But, suddenly, Chris\'s white haven was attacked by a small earthquake and Chris\'s tall body lost its balance and fell in the water as the ripples gradually began to get bigger and bigger in the calm waters of White Haven.

Alfred\'s dead body began to disintegrate in bluish particles while Chris looked blankly at the ripples in water.

Some small blue strands of unrecognisable substance began to float in water, one of them suddenly moving towards Chris like an agile snake and jumped into Chris\'s wide open chest.

Chris\'s dead heart began to thump. A feeling of flowing blood and energy enveloping his body in a gentle embrace as Chris looked blankly at two of the blue strands shooting into the air.

Both seperated midair and slithered to the two white suns in air.

Similar to the snake like strand that attacked Chris, the two strands moved towards the suns and merged into them, painting the white peaceful sun in small, pale spots of blue.

There were a total of four such strands that emerged out of the whirlpool. One of them went into Chris, two into two suns, while one of them simply merged into the white waters.

The clean white waters of White Haven suddenly swirled, some thin streams of bluish water running along with the white still waters of White Haven.

Chris who was looking at the whole process was in shock. With a bewildered look in his eyes, he observed these changes in his body as well as the domain he currently stood in.

He was not only feeling myuch smarter after his Alfred\'s memories were unlocked again, he also felt strangely rejuvenated and stronger.

Not stronger as in bodily prowess, but, stronger in the mind. He felt his mind was a lit stronger now, his steps were much more confident while his goofy eyes getting much sharper.

The changes were small, barely noticeable to other persons, however Chris knew how much these little changes were worth.

Then finally, the long awaited system\'s message popped again.

[ Ego, Christopher Swarts is the victor.

Ego, Alfred Dollarsworth has been absorbed.

Congratulations to the Host of WealthTap System. May you be victorious in future battles. ]

The message read and the white waters that now had some blue streams, swirled asking with the message. As Chris read the message, the waters also got more violent as it gripped and wrapped on Chris\'s legs, gradually pulling him down into the ground.

Chris tried but, resistance was futile as he swiftly passed out again. Something he felt he was getting master at nowadays.

He this time opened his eyes in the same bed he was laying on last night. The soft and comfy bed of his bedroom.

Near his head just like last time, flocks of students and people stood. Looking at him with worry, pity, or simply annoyance.

"Ugh…" he groaned and rubbed his eyelids, looking around again only to see every person in the room glaring at him.

"I left you for a minute and you went ahead to nearly die again?! Fuck, it was such a close shave! You would have died if your heart start beating even a second later!" Claire grabbed his collar and shouted.

"I… what are you doing here?" Chris looked at her cute familiar face and tilted his head in confusion.

"This bastard!"

"Wait wait! Let him go! He just evaded death!"

Layla and Estea pulled Claire behind who seemed hellbent on killing this dumb son of a bitch today!

"Lara called her and Ling after you passed out." Tom shrugged and pointed at a shy cute girl that was standing near the bed. Looking at him with a tinge of work worry through her round cute spectacles.

"Thank you…" Chris groaned and nodded to the shy girl, sitting back on the bed and taking a deep breath.

His body was creaking and paining but… there was a strange new energy in his body that felt strangely refreshing too. So, in short, the pain and refreshing feeling clashed with each other, making him tired.

"I want to rest for a while… please return, I am fine now… let\'s meet tomorrow." Chris sighed and requested.

Claire glared for a while before sighing and walking away, "I gave my number to your hot chauffeur. Take it from him if you suddenly die again." she threw one last sarcastic remark and left along with Ling.

"Well, alright! Let\'s meet tomorrow! Take care!" Layla giggled and got off the bed, "I took your number from Arthur, so I will add you into our texting group."

Soon the rest bid their farewell and left, while some didn\'t bother to say anything and left directly.

Finally having some peace, Chris leaned back on the bed and took a deep calm breath.

But suddenly, his phone ringed and he looked at the phone to see a call he didn\'t expect to be recieving right now.
